United States Aikido Federation
Peachtree Aikikai is a member of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF).  Our dojo's instructors are certified through the USAF.  The main aims of the USAF are to develop and guide the practice and instruction of Aikido as established by Hombu, to promote and develop good will, fellowship and lines of communication among its members, to standardize gradings, to register dan (senior level) grades with Hombu, and to establish and maintain close contact with the Shihan (master teachers) officially dispatched as representatives by Hombu.  To accomplish this, the USAF organizes, promotes and conducts Aikido demonstrations and seminars, encourages activities of member dojos, and researches, studies and publishes information and materials pertaining to Aikido.

Kiyoikaze Iaido Federation
Peachtree Aikikai is also a member of the Kiyoikaze Iaido Federation (KIF).  Our dojo's instructors are certified through the KIF.  KIF's purpose is to develop and guide the instruction of Iaido as established by Mitsunari Kanai Sensei and carried on by Claude Berthiaume Shihan, Chief Instructor of Aikido de la Montagne in Montreal, Canada.  Practice is centered on Muso Shinden Ryu, though several additional series are studied.  President and Technical director:  Claude Berthiaume.  Please visit the KIF website for a list of primary forms.  Click here to read a 2002 interview with Kanai Sensei.
