I'm looking forward to “breaking open” our mirror at First Practice tomorrow –

Short class followed by traditional Japanese mochi “mirror” rice cakes and adzuki beans – the beans are for diligence and the sticky rice cake challenges students to stick to their training . . . and saké for bravado!
