A Preponderance of Parking at Peachtree
You may have noticed that our neighbor, Bodies By Carlos, has finally moved out. They were great neighbors and we wish Carlos the best! Their departure leaves lots of empty parking in front of the dojo... so much vacant parking that our end of the shopping center looks, well, a little desolate at times. Have you ever pulled up to a store that appeared to have zero visitors? It certainly doesn't match the warm and welcoming vibe they get once they enter the dojo.
Blue is traveling so I'm posting without permission on this (forgive me, Sensei!), but I know Blue is aligned with the intention. I'd like to invite our community to help signal a bit more energy emanating from the dojo... with our cars. Specifically, if there aren't 2-3 cars in the front parking lot, please feel free to park in front. If there are lots of cars in the front, just park around back. One exception: please keep the first space directly in front of the dojo clear, so we don't block the view into the dojo from passersby... (and those of us on the mat aren't blinded by headlights!) I put a cone in that spot tonight, for practice.
Aikido is all about timing and position... and that also extends to our parking lot. Thanks for your help on this!

Mark Sensei has my approval ex post facto! If there are empty spaces in front of the old gym, feel free to park there, but please avoid parking in front of the other businesses and please try to leave the spaces directly in front of the dojo free so that folks can see us train!
