I just returned from the memorial service held for Berthiaume Sensei and wanted to share a few of those moments with you all . . .

I could never forget your smile, which lit up every room.

Your zest for life was contagious, and you knew how to bring a touch of color to the lives of everyone around you.

I remember the happy days and the moments we shared.

We loved life as much as anyone could.

Those were moments of pure happiness.

Those whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are.
