6/17 Kyu Testing Day - Details & Dish Signup

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT TO PICK YOUR DISH

One week until kyu testing! On testing day, it's very important that our entire community show up and show out, to support the testers and to add the valuable pressure of 'more eyeballs' that help each of us rise to the occasion. Hungry and well-rested ukes will be needed for tests and pretests!

PROTIP: If you cannot attend Kyu Testing day, let one of the instructors know (if you haven't already). This is good etiquette for those who are active participants in a vibrant community.

SCHEDULE: There is only one class on Sat June 17. It starts at 10:30am and it's an All Students class. Warmup will be followed by testing and pretesting. Then the afterparty!

AFTERPARTY: The afterparty cookout will take place in the parking lot. Peachtree will provide BBQ. We're asking students and parents to sign up for support dishes (chips, salads, beverages) that everyone can enjoy - see list below. If your dish has to stay cold, remember to bring it in a cooler or on ice so it will stay cold through class! i love

Quick notes for Testing day…

1. There will be ice in the ice chests to keep beverages cool. (If you’re bringing beverages, there’s no need to bring ice)

2. This is a BYOSS party: Please bring your own serving spoon!

3. Please consider making a sign for your dish, so people know what they’re diving into.

Rest up!
