I’ll be sure to send reminders as we get closer, but after coordinating with Blue-sensei, we have confirmed the following dates for our group dinners in Tokyo and Kyoto.

Tokyo Dinner

Experience: Yakatabune Tsurishin is a traditional Japanese dinner cruise offering a scenic evening along Tokyo’s waterways. Guests dine aboard a classic yakatabune boat while enjoying illuminated views of the city, bridges, and waterfront areas such as Odaiba, Rainbow Bridge, and Tokyo Skytree. The meal typically features freshly prepared Japanese dishes, including tempura, served in a relaxed tatami-style setting. Please plan to arrive early for boarding.

Kyoto Dinner

Date: January 18, 2026 Time: 7:00 PM Restaurant: DONGURI Kyoto Station – Okonomiyaki Map: https://share.google/cow9sB4kE9sVP8Z6H Dress Code: Smart Casual

Experience: DONGURI Kyoto Station is a popular casual restaurant specializing in Kyoto-style okonomiyaki and teppanyaki dishes. Conveniently located near Kyoto Station, it has been serving locals and travelers since 1977. The menu offers customizable okonomiyaki along with other grilled dishes, udon, gyoza, and drinks, many featuring local Kyoto ingredients.

Attendance Confirmation

Attendance for the Tokyo dinner is mostly confirmed; however, Kyoto attendance is still pending. If you do not plan to attend the Kyoto dinner, please notify me by the end of the week (12/20/2025). Otherwise, I will assume you are attending, as deposits must be placed for both reservations.
