Lots of items cooking at Peachtree!

SEPT 9: KYU TESTING [STARTS @ 10:30am]: All-Community class at 10:30am, followed by kyu tests for children and adults. Regular class schedule is suspended. Plan to be there to support testers and take ukemi whenever the chance arises!

SAT SEPT 23: GRAND OPENING [10am - 2pm]: We're inviting all of Atlanta to come visit our beautiful new space! This is our chance to connect new folks to Aikido, to strengthen our own training and share this amazing practice. Think of this as a 4-hour period of Open Mat: Visitors will watch Aikido demonstrations as they stop in during this period of time, and a few of us will welcome guests and explain what they are seeing, how membership works, etc.

This is our very first effort to 'get the word out' by way of an Open House, and we're asking everyone to help! Specifically:

• If you'd like to serve on a task force charged with getting the word out digitally far and wide in metro Atlanta, please text me at 678-640-9979 or post here and raise your hand.

• There are Grand Opening flyers on the shoe rack: please take a few, give them to friends, post them at your school or church, etc to help build interest.

• We will ask all Peachtree people to sign up for different 'day of event' tasks soon.

• If you have other creative ideas on how to get the word out, please text me as well.
