June 21: Seminar @ Aikido of Charlotte w/ Yours Truly & Friends
I'm excited and honored to represent Peachtree at an Aikido of Charlotte seminar in two months! Many of you probably trained with Edwin Stearns from Aikido Center of Atlanta and Jonathan Weiner of Aikido of Charlotte this past weekend... great guys. It's a one-day seminar (Sat) so I'm thinking of going up Friday afternoon and then staying for their regular class schedule on Sunday morning and then driving home around noon on Sunday (so we get our money's worth! ๐ )
Registration is now open. And $50 is the most affordable seminar you'll ever attend. Let me know if you're planning to go and we can start hunting up some Airbnb possibilities near the dojo. I have space in my car for a few folks; glad to have the company... and to have Peachtree well-represented by YOU!
OK good people! Here's the deets on Charlotte so far. (Please note that anyone can come and go as they wish, and can stay anywhere they want... it's just more fun when we band together!)
ATTENDEES TO DATE: Mitsuko, Archee, Paula, Jeffrey, Daniel, Jim, Vivian, Tai. Did I miss anyone? Not too late to get on the bus!
LODGING: Here's the hard cutoff. I'm working to secure an Airbnb for all of the people listed above. If you want to join in on the Airbnb - or <gasp> if you want out! - please let me know by sundown tomorrow (Monday). I'll circle up with everyone who is doing the Airbnb on pricing for two nights (Fri and Sat).
TRANSPO: In my car I have Paula and Mitsuko, with room for one more. First come first serve!
CLASSES: Jonathan has confirmed that there will be one or two classes at 9am on Sunday morning. I plan to hit the road for Atlanta right after that (with a lunch stop for BBQ, naturally).
From here forward I'll communicate with those who have registered via text message so we dont clog up the Forum... but if you decide you want to join - even at the last minute - the door is always open ... just hit me up and let's plan accordingly!
